Golfview Plaza, Carpentersville, Illinois A 12,000 sq. ft. mixed use structure, on a small site. The Village of Carpentersville required a large retention basis which put this project in jeopardy; the necessary size reduction would leave the project financially unfeasible. In response to this problem A Architects, Inc. designed a porous paved parking lot to meet the Village's requirements. We were the first to present this idea and successfully pass the village's intense variance process. And were allowed to build the larger structure in conformance with the owner's pro-forma requirements. This is turn allowing greater rental income for our client.
